OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT 

• Send a building application to the Building Committee (Byggnadsnämnden).
  
• Appoint a site evaluator.

APPROVAL OF THE WATER AND SANITATION INSTALLATIONS BY VA SYD 

• Send both the water and sanitation drawing and floor plan to VA SYD.
   
• Service pipe application and site plan should be sent at the same time.
   
• Submit an application for water meter subscription to VA SYD. 

INSPECTION OF THE WATER AND SANITATION INSTALLATIONS 

• The site evaluator contacts VA SYD when it is time for inspection.
   

WATER SUPPLY DURING THE BUILDING PERIOD 

• If water is needed during the building period, it can be ordered at VA SYD. 

CONNECTING TO THE WATER AND SANITATION NETWORKS 

• Contact VA SYD for service pipe connection by our contractor.
   
• Pay the connection fee.
   
• The service pipe shall be pressure tested, and VA SYD shall be present. Contact VA SYD.
   
• Apply for a water meter installation at VA SYD.
