Every year the residents of Malmö and Burlöv throw away thousands of tons of food waste — but now you can be part of a change! As food waste contains both nutrients and energy we are now investing our efforts to recycle food waste and turn it into biogas and bio fertilisers. It's an easy way for you to help saving the environment in your everyday life.

THE SPECIAL PAPER BAG

The food waste is put in special paper bags sitting in a brown stand (these are included in the subscription). The bags are then thrown into a brown recycling bin. It's as simple as that!

LOWER YOUR COSTS AND DO A GOOD THING FOR THE ENVIRONMENT

Before we can start collecting food waste in your building your landlord/building society board first has to decide to want to participate in food waste separation. Food waste collection is cheaper than the ordinary refuse collection which means your costs will often be reduced while you are doing something great for the environment!
