VA SYD is a municipal joint authority formed by the water and sewage departments of Lund, Malmö and Burlöv, which previously were run separately by each municipality. We have now committed ourselves to a lasting regional cooperation.

This will enhance our sustainability in the long-term perspective. The merging makes us better equipped to meet the changing demands of the future from public authorities, principals, customers and other stakeholders.
